Description
Waterman 1 horsepower outboard motor, a 1909 design, made in the United States. This very early outboard engine has a cast iron cylinder and water jacket, aluminium crank case, with exposed bevel gears drive to the propeller shaft. Starting handle fits on the top of the vertical drive shaft. The engine has a sand cast aluminium two stroke carburettor and a aluminium and steel tube lower leg.
